I am playing ping pong with an angel
who rescued me from an axeman
I was sitting on a lamp post
crooning the blues
on my harmonica
Joe ballooned the bourbon
down below in the shadows
of his own imagination
whilst writing obscure lyricks
along visionary lines
when this axe man surfaced
from out of nowhere somehow
hacked into my lamp post
to decappetate the monster he only saw
but an angel in a helicopter
came to rescue me
